Cretan Food

Last but by no means least, the Istron Bay Hotel is also a favourite of our guests due to its excellent cooking that runs the gamut of traditional Cretan and Mediterranean specialities.

The "Greek Academy of Taste " (Elliniki Akademia Geusis) that aims to revive traditional-style cooking in hotels and restaurants was founded in our hotel in 1997.

The healthy methods and ingredients of Cretan cooking are fully endorsed by us. Today we are also committed to bringing the traditional Greek cuisine up to date for modern times. We offer the "Cretan diet" as a half-board option, or a la carte in the restaurants of our hotel, each one having its very own special character.
